SERVICEMEMBERS IN SCHOOLS
WLF works with schools that have programs to send letters and care packages to our troops. We will send a member of a unit they supported to visit the school and thank them personally. Packages and letters are a tremendous morale boost to all our personnel serving overseas. In addition to allowing the troops to express their gratitude, it gives the children an opportunity to see our servicemen and women as regular people as well as role models. This is especially important in areas that do not have military bases and children wouldn't otherwise have contact with those who serve.

The Legacy of America's Warriors must be preserved.
